Yesterday as we had dinner I told the boys that I was going to do a lot of homework that night so that I could watch the Texas vs. Alabama game tonight. Ty began to beg me not to do homework so I could play with him, then he began to reason with me by telling me that I had school on Monday night, so I didn't have to do homework on any other night.
I said, "It's not like that in college."
He replied, "You're going to college?" He was totally shocked.
Ty's idea of college is living on campus and being on the football team.
(FYI...I'm going to Weber State University for a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) degree)
